What is a nonogram?
A picture logic puzzle. The numbers beside each row and column tell you how many filled squares in a row to place. Solve every line and a picture appears.
Are nonograms and picross the same?
Yes. Picross, griddlers and hanjie are other names for the same puzzle.
How do I start?
Begin with a 5x5 puzzle. Fill any row or column where the clue fills the whole line, cross out lines with 0, and work outward from there. The step-by-step guide walks through a full puzzle.
Can I print nonograms?
Yes. Every size has a PDF pack with all puzzles and the solutions.
Is there a daily nonogram?
Yes. GRIDS has a new hand-drawn picture every day.
